Paul grew up in Long Island, NY, working alongside his father at New York Garage Door Company. He moved to North Carolina and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, majoring in Political Science. Upon graduating, Paul resumed the garage door trade and founded Charlotte Garage Door Company in 2001. The recent change of his company name to Garage Door Guru has enabled him to fine-tune his business and continue to grow and market his company.
